SCIF & SAPF Secure Facility Solutions

Containerized, Modular & Portable Solutions for ICD 705 Requirements

Not every SCIF project starts with a finished specification. You may know the size you need, the mission the space will support, or simply that the facility must meet specific security requirements. We help simplify the process by connecting your project requirements with the appropriate secure facility solution. Explore solutions for:

• Containerized SCIFs
• Modular and panelized SCIFs
• Portable and tactical T-SCIFs
• SAPF secure facilities
• Secure data and server environments
• Custom and multi-room configurations

Whether you are working from an RFP, developing a budget, or still determining which approach makes sense, we can help you identify the next step.

Rapid SCIF & Container SCIF Solutions

A Standardized Approach for Portable and Deployable Secure Space

Containerized SCIFs offer a practical, transportable path for secure facilities using standard dimensions. They reduce on-site construction while providing flexible layouts for offices, communications, and specialized operational needs.Container SCIF Overview

Containerized SCIFs use standard ISO shipping container sizes. This makes moving and placing the unit predictable. You can set up the inside as an office, briefing room, or communications space.

Potential Advantages

• Predesigned or configurable floor plans
• Extensive off-site fabrication
• Transportable and relocatable configurations
• Defined footprint for site and utility planning
• Integrated pathways for security and communications systems
• Reduced on-site secure construction activity

Common Provisions

Intrusion Detection System (IDS) pathways

Access Control System (ACS) pathways

CCTV and security system infrastructure

Electrical power and communications

HVAC and cooling systems

RF and acoustic protection requirements

The right setup depends on your program rules and the security group in charge.

ICD 705 & SCIF Accreditation Planning

Build Toward the Requirements From the Beginning

SCIF projects must address specific physical and technical security requirements. IC 705 and its supporting technical specifications establish the framework used for the construction and management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.

The Accrediting Official (AO) and other designated security authorities ultimate The Accrediting Official (AO) and other designated security authorities ultimately determine the requirements that apply to the project and whether the completed facility is approved for its intended use. Early coordination is important because the security requirements can influence the facility layout, construction, penetrations, equipment and overall project scope. Areas that may need to be addressed include:

• Physical perimeter security and hardening
• Radio frequency protection and shielding
• TEMPEST considerations and CTTA coordination
• Acoustic protection
• Visual controls
• Access Control Systems (ACS)
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Secure doors and access points
• Utility, HVAC and communications penetrations
• Emergency exits and notification systems Our goal is to help organize the project requirements, identify the appropriate facility solution and support the planning process as the project moves toward design, fabrication and accreditation review.
