Book and Retail Depositories
Safety Products Protect During and After Hours:
Certain types of businesses and institutions have more customer transactions then they handle with just the on-duty staff. There is no need to form an entire line of people who simply want to drop off borrowed items or deliveries. If you’re customer, then you don’t want to waste time in your busy day waiting in line just to say; “Returning these, thank you.” What if you’re so busy that stopping by during business hours is impossible? Do you want to move the errand to the list of tasks for the next day or walk over to drop box by the entrance and return your items?
You want to check off this off your list. Most likely, this errand involves your local library and everyone knows that a library book can sit on your table, dresser, in your backpack or in the backseat until you belatedly remember it. Murphy’s Law states that you usually remember it after the library has closed for the day. In that case, you need to use the depository drop-off box that is now standard issue for virtually all libraries. This is another area where safeandvault.com and K.L. This model has been the industry standard for more than twenty-five years and they keep improving the design. It’s not just the new features like the physical security shield and the embedded alarm system that draw customers to the 80UC. It’s the fact that it is a UL listed product and that is designed for both walk-up and drive-through functions. It is an ease to care for because of its stainless steel exterior and the fact that it comes standard with a weather-seal kit, supply storage and lights. The features list is also impressive. Heat sensors, a conveyor system within the chest and a camera port kit. It comes with composite or steel-plated UL listed chests and the chutes can be made to accommodate virtually any wall thickness. There are also seismic detection and door contacts for the chests and secure housings and claddings. One of the best features is the optional UL listed closure device; if the depository head is removed illicitly then it snaps shut to deny access to the chest and its contents.
