Earl Park Fall Festival | Home of Indiana's First Windmill Farm

Held annually during Labor Day weekend, the Earl Park Festival (known locally at the EP Fest) brings more than 40,000 visitors to a town with a population of 709 residents. Since 1972 the festival has gained tremendous growth and community support as one of the largest FREE FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT festivals in the Midwest. 

Family activities include a craft and flea market, live Bluegrass music and a wide variety of dinners each evening that include a fish fry, chicken

noodles and spaghetti. Some of the most popular games and activities include:

  • Truck & Tractor Pull -Raffle - Lion's Club Bingo -Demolition Derby - Parade - Car Show
  • Softball Tournament - Horseshoe Tournament -Washoos Tournament -Pedal Tractor Pull
  • Mud Volleyball - Anything Goes contest - And much more!

The annual Earl Park Fall Festival holds a raffle contest that includes a wide variety of prizes and gifts donated by local residents and businesses with a grand prize of $1000.00

Earl Park Wind Farm

Located in Benton County, Indiana, Earl Park is the home of first large scale wind farm in the Hoosier state. Nestled amongst 87 commercial wind power generators, Earl park has become a midwest destination for Eco-tourism. The green energy generators are the model sl/sle Gen4 GE 1.5mw Wind Turbines. All of the the wind farm's green power is sold to local and regional utility companies to lower energy costs, reduce dependence on fossil fuels as well as reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Earl Park wind farm began commercial operation April 2008.
